Bought it for my husband who was using it for his 69 Chevy Suburban restoration. Both the vehicle and the book burned in the Campfire
A great bargain and really good resource for problem-solving and repairing late model, square body GMC & Chevy trucks.
A little bit of information about a lot of different trucks. This won't likely help you fix anything but if you want to see some of the things put into random trucks covered by this manual its worth it to get a cheap copy
I restore old cars, trucks and tractors. These manuals have a lot of technical information in them that you need to work on a particular vehicle. I actually have a bookshelf in the office area of my shop that I keep them in.
A good manual but not a substitute for a bigger shop manual. If you are familiar with Chevrolet products perhaps this will be enough for you but it left me with some unanswered questions. Great for general maintainence and light repair but get a shop manual if you want a more thorough treatment. I gave it four stars just for this reason.
