I love this study guide! I believe I have a similar one for pharmacology. The practice questions are in all different styles from crosswords, to fill-in-the-blanks, to matching, so no matter how your brain collects information there's a style for you. The best part is that the answers are included with explanations that are detailed enough to get the point across but not too wordy.
When studying 15 to 20 hrs a week, I found if I could answer the questions in the study guide, I did well on my tests....I found this book helpful and would recommend it.
If your program uses their book I highly suggest getting this study guide. It really helps you to retain all the important aspects of each chapter. We don't have added assignment in my course so it's all self learning of the material and this book really helped me to succeed
Really didn’t use the book as much, however, when I did access it as a resource to the book, it was very helpful. The exercises were helpful in gaining or reinforcing understanding.
Has a lot of good review/study. Has clinical scenarios and "teach people about [chapter subject]". I wish it had more of that and less matching and complete the sentence type review.
